Holy Mass & Sacraments

Grace Through Sacraments

Through the Sacraments, we encounter God's grace at every stage of life, strengthening our faith and drawing us closer to Christ and His Church.

Sacraments of Initiation

Baptism

Through Baptism, we are welcomed into the family of the Church and begin our life in Christ. Parents wishing to arrange a Baptism are invited to contact the parish for information about preparation and arrangements.

First Holy Communion

In the Eucharist, we receive the Body and Blood of Christ and are drawn more deeply into the life of the Church. Children preparing for their First Holy Communion are supported in their journey of faith through the parish and their Catholic education.

Confirmation

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and are strengthened to live out our Catholic faith. Those preparing for Confirmation are supported as they deepen their relationship with Christ and take a fuller part in the life of the Church.

Reconciliation

Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we encounter God's mercy and forgiveness and are reconciled with Him and His Church. The Sacrament is available regularly in our parish, with opportunities for Confession at both St Teresa of Avila and St Joseph the Worker.

Please see our Mass Times page for current Confession times.

Through the Sacrament of Marriage, a man and woman enter into a lifelong covenant of love and faithfulness, strengthened by God’s grace as they begin their married life together. Couples wishing to marry in the parish are invited to contact Fr Tony to discuss preparation and arrangements.
